Dear Clergy, Catholic Educators and Parents,

The Worldwide Children's Eucharistic Holy Hour has a goal, and it is that one day there will be millions of children gathered before our Eucharistic Lord Jesus, that will console His Most Sacred Heart, and  also giving children throughout the world the unprecedented opportunity to spiritually unite to pray for their own families and all the families of the world, as entrusted to them by Pope John Paul, II.

The 'Order of the Holy Hour' and 'Order of Holy Hour with Prayers,' found on this Holy Hour program page, is the order and prayers, that have approved by the Liturgist and the Bishops who have presided over previous Holy Hours at the 'Eucharistic Epicenter' of the Children's Holy Hour, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.

The order is not meant to instruct you how to celebrate your Holy Hour, because what will work for one parish or school may not work for another.

 What should be the goal of everyone is to participate! Bring one child or a thousand before Jesus, but join in!

What we do ask and we repeat it over and over, is this, if you wish that the souls of the children entrusted into your care to be spiritually united with other children throughout the world, please maintain the four devotions that we have requested.

o Gather the children before the Most Blessed Sacrament
o Pray the Eucharistic prayers of reparation as taught by the Angel of Peace
o Entrustment prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
o Pray the Rosary for the families of the world

We all understand that we live in different parts of the world, different time zones, different cultures, sometimes priests are available and sometimes they are not. The Children's Holy Hour, LIVES and BREATHES, through a gift from the Holy Spirit, it does not live by the letter of the law, but by the spirit of the law.

So please remember that the Children's Holy Hour is their Holy Hour. It is the adults of the world helping the children of the world to find their God on earth! To touch His Heart, to come to know and love Him.

Please allow the children to be included as much vocal participation as possible,  and you will find beautiful samples of these 'speaking parts for children' in the 'Holy Hour with Prayers."

At the Basilica we have a beautiful procession in honor of Our Blessed Mother, the children wave their hankies to greet her, the children in procession wear beautiful costumes, carry flags of many nations to show global unity, they pray the prayers the 'Angel of Peace' taught the little Shepherds of Fatima, Entrust their lives to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and pray the World Mission Rosary. 

My prayer is that your parish, school or family, will be lead by the Holy Spirit to join in this global effort, to help the children of the world to find their Eucharistic Lord Jesus, who is the only one, that can fan the 'flame of faith' in their souls, thus bringing about a New Springtime, for the families of the world!
